The Taroted Harbinger

At long, damn last, the tricksome section of Harbinger that was holding up everything else has finally been completed!

All in all, I’ve written about 2000 words of it in the last two days.

The Tarot reading has turned out as I’d hoped, which is great, although I resolved in a slightly different way than I planned.

Here’s a sample:

“I can’t help you with this one,” she said, placing the card amongst its comrades on the table. “And you’ll need all the help you can get.”

On the card, a tormented man was strung up by the leg, and dangling upside down. His face was strained, but despite the misery of his circumstances, he maintained an inner serenity. An acceptance of his fate.

The Hanged Man.

All’s been quiet on other fronts, including TAFE, except:

Web has been published by Flash Shot. For those who missed its 4 August appearance, you can catch it (for a few days only) HERE

Shadowed Realms – the slushpile was clear, but we’ve had half a dozen new subs sneak in the the last couple of days. We are now reading through them and will make some lightning fast decisions soon.
