You were our beautiful baby girl, our grumbly old bear, our Sahmie D.
This morning, Sahma was put to sleep peacefully in our arms, on her beloved bean bag. She is now at rest in the backyard with all her favourite things beside her.
She will never be forgotten, and she will always be in our hearts. There is a Sahma-shaped hole in our lives that can never be replaced.
For nearly seventeen years, Sahma was one of the kids to us, and today has been the most devastating day of my life.
Please allow Angela and I the time to grieve. Unless it’s critically urgent, do not send emails or requests until mid-January.
