Literary tits and arse

I just came across this review of Apex Digest #8 at Pretty Scary.com. It’s not often you see a reviewer tear down an issue of a magazine with this much gusto. As I was reading it, I held my breath, waiting for a new one to be torn over my “Genesis Six”, but it turns out I was one of the very few lucky ones:

“There were moments of sparkle within Apex Issue 8, the apocalyptic ‘Genesis 6’ by Shane Jiraiya Cummings (where do they get those wonderful names?) and the sickly comic-book-like ‘Mommy Daddy and Mollie’ by William F. Nolan rising above the dross to provide a bit of literary tits and arse to this otherwise plain-Jane antho, yet on the whole, I wasn’t overly impressed. Apex is just not my cup of tea, it seems. “

Literary tits and arse? I should use that one on HorrorScope…
