HorrorScope redux

Okay, so I mentioned HorrorScope a couple of posts ago, but things are just getting more and more exciting while I’m wearing that particular hat.

So far, we’ve focussed on Australian publications (and will continue to do so). However, we’re keen to bring the best of the rest of the world Down Under, and as a consequence, we’ll be reviewing many of the finest professional magazines from around the world (on a regular basis!).

Until now, aspiring pro writers have had to take up subscriptions, or trawl international websites or zines like Locus for the low-down on international markets. But no more!

In 2006 HorrorScope will be regularly reviewing the likes of The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction, Interzone, Black Static, Flesh & Blood, On Spec, and many many many more! We’ve already published recent reviews of Weird Tales, Book of Dark Wisdom, and Surreal, and by damnit, we’ll keep that ball rolling until it becomes continent sized!

Don’t forget to keep an eye out for the regular reviews of Aussie publications like ASIM, Aurealis, Shadowed Realms, Ticonderoga Online, Borderlands, Antipodean SF, MirrorDanse Books, and HarperCollins Voyager. And more! Heaps more!

And remember – it’s free to read.
