Tony Owens at HorrorScope has posted a great review of Macabre: A Journey through Australia’s Darkest Fears.
No specific mention of my story, “Dark Heart Alley (An Urban Fable)”, which is cool given the sheer volume of stuff in the anthology, but some positive mentions for stories by Andrew McKiernan, Paul Haines, Bob Franklin, Kirstyn McDermott, Stephen M. Irwin, and more.
Of the anthology in general, Tony says:
The variety and scope of the collection is such that there will be something for even the most picky reader. Impressively for an anthology of this length, there are no glaring duds to make up the numbers and what it does demonstrate is that Australia punches above its weight in horror fiction.
