Fame and Notoriety

I spent today serving the Crown as a Juror for the State of Western Australia. I’ve ended up on a reasonably serious criminal case (which I’m not at liberty to discuss), and can expect to write off the rest of this week to obligations of justice.

Which is a pain in the arse for someone trying to meet so many crucial deadlines. But hey, it’s that or a bench warrant.

On the plus side, it looks like I’m set to become a poster-boy for Southern Cross University. They’re going to be using me (bio, photograph and all!) to promote their Arts/Writing/Media courses.

I guess this means they’ll be a little more stringent when marking my final few assignments?
