Cthulhu’s Dark Cults almost here

Cthulhu's Dark CultsDavid Conyers alerted me to this a little while ago, but I’ve had a few things on my plate and forgot to blog it. Cthulhu’s Dark Cults, an anthology about the “Schemes of the Secret Masters” in the Call of Cthulhu universe, has its final cover unveiled and an expected release in the next few months.

The anthology contains my novella “Requiem for the Burning God” – a story that probes the dark caverns beneath the Peruvian Andes and the mining operations of pseudo-military industrialists known as New World, Incorporated. For gamers out there, the story has been inspired by the campaign sourcebook Day of the Beast, but for non-gamers, you’ll find it’s a ripping good read involving a World War I hero and his mercenery mates fighting a corrupt world-spanning organisation and an unspeakable horror. There’s zeppelins, bi-plane battles, and did I mention unspeakable horror?

Full info and table of contents are here. Keep an eye out for this one, folks! I’ll keep you posted when it is released.
