I’ve put my hand up for three panels at Conjure (in only a few weeks… eep!). Strangely, two of the three were for panels I was interested in, but didn’t initially volunteer for (I also pulled out of an editing panel and didn’t make the Clarion South panel – too crowded).
So here’s my panellage:
Don’t shoot the messenger: the merits of web publishing
We’re a future-friendly crowd so how come there are still lingering doubts about web publishing?
Proposed panellists: Shane Jiraiya Cummings (chair), Cory Doctorow, Russell B. Farr, Dr Kathryn Phelps
Dark Fantasy or Horror?
What’s the difference? If you’re a horror writer, will tagging yourself as “dark fantasy” give you a better chance of being published?
Proposed panellists: Kim Wilkins (chair), Robert Hood, Jason Nahrung, Shane Jiraiya Cummings
Under the Surface
What’s going on in Australian Horror?
Proposed panellists: Robert Hood, Teresa Pitt, Kyla Ward, Shane Jiraiya Cummings
Times and panellists to be confirmed!
