Dead of Night

The Best of Midnight Echo

Australian Horror Writers Association, 2016
342 pages
[Amazon Kindle]  [Amazon]

In the dead of night, when everything is still, a scream echoes at its loudest…

For years, the Australian Horror Writers Association gave voice to fierce, unrelenting horror writers from Australia and New Zealand through Midnight Echo. The magazine was a scream of recognition for Antipodean writers, a cry in the night to disturb and delight.

Now, the stories that rang out loudest are collected in one volume:

A woman sits by the phone waiting dreading her next call.

Something monstrous lurks in a department store

Teeth are removed, sacrifices are made, dark magic is invoked, and quiet ghosts hunt.

And it all ends in fire.

This is the best of Midnight Echo.
